- Tips:
Use flip-flap books to teach matching, number families, synonyms, antonyms, beginning sounds, and many other study topics.
- Instructions:
- Cut five-flap book for each student.
- Cut die-cut shapes to represent food groups (e.g., apple, bread slice, carrot, turkey, carton of milk).
- Students decorate shapes.
- Students glue die cuts to flap fronts.
To Learn: Brainstorm with students to create a list of foods that belong in each group, then ask them to write the foods under the appropriate flaps.
