Teens will love creating a bag to hold all their summer reading books. This bag is easy to make with iron on appliques and fabric paint. It coordinates with the 2010 CLSP theme "Makes Waves @ Your Library- Read".

Tips:

Use holiday shapes and make this bag for any season.

Instructions:

1. Adhere fabric scraps to fusible webbing according to manufacturers instructions.
2. Cut wave border piece to fit width of backpack and to desired height. Adhere to backpack front.
3. Cut remaining shapes from desired fabric scraps and adhere to backpack.
4. Add detail and wording with fabric paints.
