Tips:

Make a learning center activity by labeling baskets with vowel sounds and having students sort words into the correct baskets.

Instructions:
  1. Cut brown basket and bag. Outline basket with black marker or let student decorate. Assemble bag and cut off handles. Adhere bag to back of basket.
  2. Print student's name on purple construction paper. Use tag die to cut tag with name in center. Tie to basket handle with purple yarn.
  3. Cut spring shapes in spring colors and allow students to decorate. Adhere letter stickers to shapes to spell spring words.
  4. Place shapes into bag.

To learn: Use as flashcards. One person draws a shape from the bag and says the word. The other student spells the word aloud.
