Video Submission How-to
Follow these five easy steps to submit your videos.
Step 1 – Get the link
You will need to copy the “long URL link” from your You Tube,
Vimeo or other video hosting site account.
Instructions for getting the long link from You Tube:
1 - From your You Tube videos page click on the “Share”
button.
2 - Once you have clicked the share button you will see the URL box
appear with a link in it
3 - You will then need to click on “show options” on the
right.
4 - You will then see additional options - ‘Start at” and
“Long link”. Check the Long Link Box.
Once you do a longer URL link will appear. Please copy that link.
Step 2 - Go to the
Video Site
Step 3 - Log into
your AccuCut Craft Video account
If you do not have an account, you will need to set one up
in order to submit your videos.
Step 4 – Add your video
Click on Add A Video at the top of the page
Step 5 – Fill in the blanks
- Video
URL –
- Select the site that your video is hosted on i.e. You Tube
- Then
paste your copied "Long Link" URL into the box next to your selection
- Category
– Select the category that your video best fits under
- Artist
- You’re an artist. Sign your work
and give your name here.
- Video
Title – Title your Video so it is easy for others to find and view.
Example: How to make an ______ OR Learn
how to Make _______ - Description
– Please provide a brief description of your video, what people will see
and if this is for one of our contests please name the AccuCut dies that
were used in making the project.
- Tags –
These are keywords that describe your videos and make them easier for
people to find when searching online.
- Submit
– You are now done.
Thank you for submitting your video!
Our Approval Process -
Once your video is
submitted, the AccuCut Craft Video team will review your video for
approval. Once the video has been viewed
and approved, we will post it to the site. Some videos may not be approved right away so please be patient. As always, please feel free to email us if you have any questions. We reserve the right to decline adding videos that we feel are
inappropriate and do not represent the best interest of AccuCut, its clients
and video community members. Please also
