AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating Album builder base #1 is such a usefull die. I can't wait to get the Haunted House set and the snowman set to go with it. I want the Album Builder Base #2 as well. How great to use for albums or just for pages!

Overall Rating I can hardly believe how easy this makes building an album. We are making Halloween albums with the pumpkin builder and the albums are looking so amazing. I am so amazed at how easy the GrandMarke makes cutting the dies...so effortless. Can hardly wait to see what the other builder sets have in store for me...when I can get them (LOL).

Overall Rating I used this set with my birdhouse mini album. It really adds to the album nicely. Might be a must have. I am going to use it with my butterfly album next. I also used one of the pages to make a really cute Wish List album for several graduates this year and they loved them.
