AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating I have the jumbo 8" die and it is so useful and so adaptable for whatever project you have in mind. From fun albums for kids, scrapbooks & photobooks for parents, to wedding day albums and guest books, this is the die I go back to time and time again. I love how the covers are slightly larger than the pages too - perfect.

Overall Rating I have this one in the jumbo 8 inch size and just ordered the 4 inch size. It's a great basic shape. I make the covers out of medium wt chipboard and then use slightly lighter chipboard for the pages. I plan to make a clock shaped album out of it. I also plan to layer it with the other rounded shapes such as scalloped circles, basic circles and shaped circular dies. You can also cut the rectangular extension on the side and use it as a circle if you don't have the basic circle die.

Overall Rating I love how this die set has the two sizes. The larger cover size and the smaller page size. You can make several variations on minis using this die. I have the smaller one and will often use it to add a variation page inside a mini of a combination of die cut pages.
