AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating I got the Super Jumbo size box. It's a nice size and won't take much to fill one for each person at the table at Christmas or for some other Holiday. I would really like one that was round in the main part of the box. Maybe they will come out with one with the round shape.

Overall Rating Love this die for table favors and little ornaments to hang from all occasion trees, holiday trees, etc. So versatile in clear or patterned, plain papers. Also the pyramid style is a nice option to the four corner option. They can hold candy, small hair bows and toys for kids, craft supplies, the list is endless!

Overall Rating Great for treats at parties or the holidays. I have this in the smaller two sizes. A ruffled edge would be a fab edition to future updates of this product too.
The Jumbo makes a candy box that is quite small with the main "body" of the box only having a practical capacity of approx. 1" x2.75" once ties (and it *does* require tying with cord or ribbon to close the box, not just to make it look pretty).
The Jumbo and Super Jumbo boxes, once made up are perfect for table gifts too.(Posted on 4/13/12)
