To use, place die flat in tray with foam side up. Place material to be cut on top of die, desired side down. Then lay appropriate size of cutting mat on top of material.
To extend its life, use both sides of mat.
Results may be better with cutting plastic vs. Cut & Crease Mats when using dies with crease blade with cardstock heavier than 80 lb. cover.

Overall Rating I had these before I got my cutting plastic. It does work great with papers and lasts a lot longer than the plastic plates. Once I got my plastic plates in I was good to go for making my albums. I would definitely recommend using both products.
