AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating Seriously, if you make mini albums then you need this die set. This makes the cutest spring book, house warming gift, home is where the heart is, welcome home...I could go on. LOL Love AccuCut dies, they cut the best of anything out there. I just ordered the Album Builder Base 2 set...can't wait to use it with this die set. LOVE!!!

Overall Rating This bird house album is so much fun to add lots of texture or faux texture to give it a great look and feel. We even added some real branches along with distressed embossing to add more interest. I love the album builders as they can become so much more than an album. The pieces can be used for scrapbook pages, a small album by themselves, or ornaments or home decor.

Overall Rating This die is so much more than a bird house. It is an anything house. It can be haunted, gone to the dogs or just a welcome home. So fun to use and the accessories are fantastic.

Overall Rating I had so much fun making a mini album with this die set. There is so much you can do with it. Even used the fence with several other mini's and also on a layout. I also got the base album builder and added to this plus the small birds die.

Overall Rating My first project with this great die was the lovey birdhouse album. I then thought outside the box and realized this would be the perfect potted flower design album by using the base of the house as the "pot" and then adhering steams and paper flowers to the top.
So Cute and easy!!! I just read the review above and how great is that, a dog house plus the fence part of the die works well with both the dog house and the potted plant albums!(Posted on 2/20/12)

Overall Rating Just ordered this one along with the base kit during black Friday. It is so versatile. Besides being used as is for an album you can use the birdhouse itself for an album, fold the cover in half for a card, alter the birdhouse to make it a regular house for housewarming or xmas or use the individual pieces as embellishments on any project. Love it!!!
