AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating I really like the numbers die of this Vintage Alphabet set. The size of the numbers are perfect for so many craft projects, and having them all on one die is brilliant! I cut a bunch of them from chipboard and have them in a box ready for whatever I need, they can be colored, painted, sparkled...this is really easy to always find the number you need for any project!

Overall Rating This 2 die set is such a bargain when compared to other Accucut Alphabet sets. The Vintage font is versatile, can look manly or feminine, and can be cut from just about anything. The negative shapes are great for stenciles. I really appreciate the size and thought of these dies, for those of us that want an alphabet set but are wary of the hundreds of dollars cost of the fabulous full sets. I wish that Accucut would make more of the alphabet sets in this 1 inch long cut style. I like the idea of just using the first letter and then writing out the rest of the name or word as posted below. Great Bargain!

Overall Rating I love this versatile alphabet set. I use it on both scrap books and mixed media projects. As with any accucut Craft product, it is easy to use and cuts through even heavy chipboard with ease.

Overall Rating I just love the vintage look of this alphabet set. With the two dies I can easily cut out all of the letters at once or I can cut my paper/felt in a rectangle and only cut out what I need. Accucut has wonderful customer service and I am so glad I got this die for my collection. It cuts precise letters that are so fun to use.

Overall Rating I love these pretty little letters. most recently I cut out cardstock letters, sprayed them with spray adhesive and glittered them. Soooo pretty! I've also used them on cards....for example, I'll cut out the F and then write the rest of the word in cursive...kind of reminds me of vintage postcards I've seen. Anyway, it's a great alphabet for the mini maker!
