AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.
Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.
Die Tips and Maintenance:
- Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
- Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
- If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
- If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
- Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating I really love the dress form on this die and it cut chipboard very well, as do the spool & buttons. I use this die a lot when scrapping my favorite grandma as she was a seamstress. I only give it 4 stars because I can only cut paper with the needle and scissors (I really would like to cut chipboard - but it get's stuck every time). I have not used the perforation blade yet, but I do look forward to trying it on some layouts.

Overall Rating I LOVE this die. I think there are some dress form out there but this is an elegant dress form die. It is very versatile. I have used is on mini books, cards and my latest was to decorate a Christmas tree for my craft room. I cut them on chipboard, paint them pink and use glitter over them. The tree looks fantastic. Thank you for creating such beautiful die and I hope you create a mini book dress form die next!!
