I bought this to use in birthday parties for little boys at my store. The plane really does not fly no matter how many papers I've tried. I was bummed I spent the money on it. My first unhappy experience with Accucut. Love everything else.

I was so excited to get this die for my grandson as he loves making paper planes, we just couldn't get it to fly. for the price of these die it was very frustrating and disappointing especially to a child. I have over 40 dies and this was my first disappointment.

This is a really cute die and it is fun for kids to work with. That said, there was quite a bit of disappointment when the planes didn't fly all that well (if at all) once they were assembled. It takes a bit of experimentation to get the right combination of parts to make the model fly (even when using the suggested materials).
I would recommend this as a clever invitation that can be assembled as a craft, used as a place card or for making a mobile.
