AccuCut dies have steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine. The blades are protected by foam that also helps to eject the die-cut shape from the die.

Storage: Store dies in AccuCut die storage cases or racks.

Die Tips and Maintenance:

  • Use cutting plastic or mat (sold separately) that matches size of the die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Dies cut face up in AccuCut machines so it's easy to see what you're cutting.
  • Place desired side of paper or other material face down on foam side of die.
  • If you are cutting fabric, a thread or two may remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • To extend life of die, clear scraps of paper, chipboard and other material from under the die when cutting.
  • If desired, use adhesive roller to clean paper and lint from dies. Use die pick or tweezers to remove any material caught between blades and foam.
  • Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Fun to cut lots of flowers fast Review by Donita
Overall Rating

It's so fun to pile on the scrapbook paper and cut four or five layers of flower shapes in three sizes all at once. I like the shape of these petals. The only drawback is that the flowers are set so far apart that paper gets wasted, but not far enough apart that you can cut another set in between. It's nice they're in a long row, though because they allow the use of leftover strips cut from 12 by 12 scrapbook paper. I really like these flowers. And producing lots of flowers all at once is so satisfying. I keep them in a resealable baggie until needed.

Cut Felt Great but.... Review by Jennifer
Overall Rating

I just bought 2 accucut dies, my first from Accucut. Comparing them to other brands, they cut way better. I had no problem cutting 6 layers of wool felt.
However, there is a lot of wasted space on this flower die making for a large percentage of waste on the fabric or felt when cutting.
The flowers need to be closer together or even have another row.
The picture makes you think you are getting a square die, but it is actually long and rectangular

Great for fabric flowers Review by Donna
Overall Rating

I love using this die to cut flowers for my custom bridal sashes. It cuts several layers of sheer fabric at one time.

love this layered flower! Review by Christy

When you cut these from cardstock, spray with water, crinkle into ball, open gently and let dry. Layer and add a pretty brad or crystal. This makes a beautiful dimensional embellishment for a scrapbook layout or on you handmade cards.
