Retailer Tip: How to Make Money With Chipboard
- Create pre-cut shapes, such as flowers and hearts, and place next to cash register as an easy upsell when the customer is checking out.
- Cut chipboard albums and create classes, make-and-takes or individual kits.
- Sell in full sheets and let customers use our die cutting center to cut the shapes they want.
- Cut chipboard letters and numbers and sell individually or in packs.
- If specific papers are not selling, adhere them to chipboard, then cut out 11 1/2" page background shapes to sell.

Overall Rating This chip board is no longer a nice smooth kraft chip board. The surface is a raw chipboard.

Overall Rating I've never found any chipboard that's as thick and sturdy and can be purchased in bulk as Accucut's Heavyweight chip! Like all paper products, it's more pliable/bendable in one direction, so be sure to line up the sturdier grain in the direction you want your item to be the strongest. For example, if I'm making a long, narrow book, I line up the sturdier grain lengthwise along the die so the book will not bend in the middle. Note that it is a little more difficult to cut with some Sizzix dies, and cannot be used with tiny metal dies such as Nestabilities or Papertrey Ink dies.
